First new homes released at Northallerton development

Construction of a new housing development in Northallerton has started, with the first homes being released and made available to pre-reserve online.

The new development by Miller Homes, which is named Allerton Gate, will see a range of 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom homes built in the north of the town. The site plan shows 109 plots in the development which will be accessed from the roundabout with the A684 Stokesley Road and North Moor Road.

A mix of houses and bungalows will be built at the site. Affordable homes will be included in the development.

From Sunday 1st June prospective buyers will be able to visit the Development Sales Manager at Miller Homes’ Westville Quarter in Darlington.

Permission was granted for the development in April. The homes will be constructed within the site known as NOR1 in the Hambleton Local Plan. The greenfield site has been allocated for approximately 485 homes in total.

House builder Persimmon is continuing construction of its Kingsbrook development in the north of the town. Taylor Wimpey say on their website that the last two homes of the neighbouring Williams Heath development are available.

Last year plans were approved for a retail development at the opposite end of North Moor Road comprising an Aldi, Starbucks, Greggs and Burger King restaurant.
